We were delighted to welcome the team from Trigon Fire Safety to Cambridge Fire Research for a recent training day and live fire test.
The visit provided an opportunity for attendees to gain a deeper understanding of fire testing processes and observe first-hand how products, systems, and constructions perform under real fire conditions. Seeing a live fire test in action offers valuable insight into the relationship between testing standards, certification requirements, and practical fire safety performance.
Throughout the day, the Trigon team engaged with our technical experts, exploring the principles behind fire resistance testing and discussing how test data supports informed decision-making across the built environment.
There is no substitute for seeing a fire test first-hand, and the day gave attendees the chance to experience the realities of fire performance in a way that brings technical concepts to life.
We would like to thank the team at Trigon Fire Safety for taking the time to visit us and for their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the day. It was a pleasure to host them, and we look forward to welcoming them back to Cambridge Fire Research in the future.
